August 12, 2019, The Blockchain Association today announces the appointment of Marc Masure to its Blockchain Expert Committee (BEC).

Enhancing the BEC structure

Mr. Masure is the 14th industry expert to join the Blockchain Association’s BEC – which consists of a diverse panel of industry professionals, who follow a non-bias protocol to process and resolve complaints from our members’ clients.

 

Marc is first and foremost a technology addict and expert in cyber security. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of Belgium Mobile ID, commercially known as ItsMe. Previously, Mr. Masure held senior management roles as an analyst and trader of FX and cryptocurrencies, as well technical manager, technology officer and head of architecture. During his career, Marc has accumulated experience in a variety of sectors, including trading, banking, utilities, security and Blockchain.

With many issues surrounding customer and asset security in the Blockchain space, it was crucial for us to find an expert who can provide detailed recommendations on safeguarding assets and using Blockchain technology for authentication purposes.”

About Marc Masure

Mr. Masure has been involved in the digital asset sector from its inception and has since fully adopted crypto currencies as his means of banking. Currently he is focused on trading traditional fiat and crypto currencies and by extension the tokenization of assets, which he believes will be the next “big thing”. He is a self-directed trader and investor. Mr. Masure holds licenses in various fields, including GIAC, Gemalto and eLearnSecurity.
