September 5th, 2019, The Blockchain Association today announced the attendance of members of the association’s Blockchain Expert Committee at the First Solana Blockchain Meetup, which took place in Kyiv, Ukraine on Wednesday, August 28th.

Pavlo Symonenko, who recently joined the Blockchain Expert Committee, attended the Meetup event to learn more about the Solana Blockchain, which is a new project with open source code created from scratch. Dan Albert, a guest host of the event highlighted Solana’s architecture, which allows for software to process data in proportion to the limits set by a network, thus eliminating processing constraints.
Attendees were also treated to a presentation of the architecture of the Solana Blockchain, which satisfies the three main criteria for sophisticated blockchain networks: scale, security and decentralization.
