June 25, 2020, The Blockchain Association today announces that Blockchain Expert Committee (BEC) member Simon Grunfeld has launched the Gallant Exchange, a NYC based Sports and Crypto start-up focusing on retail trading and sports fan engagement. With the new role as Co-Founder of Gallant Exchange, Mr. Grunfeld will relinquish his role as an expert of the BEC.

Simon joined the Blockchain Expert Committee in September of 2018 during the Blockchain Association’s founding and has since been a member of the independent expert team tasked with reviewing information on disputes between traders and broker members of the Financial Commission. Mr. Grunfeld is a Principal at Gallant Partners, a full-service digital agency working with financial markets, Blockchain, trading platforms, cryptocurrencies, media, pharmaceuticals, advertising & eCommerce. Previously, Simon co-founded Gallant Capital Markets, as well as Gallant VPS, which revolutionized cloud-based FX and CFD trading via the MetaTrader platform.
