The number of cryptocurrency payments via processing services increased by 65% from January to July 2019. Bitcoin accounted for 89%, Chainalysis noted.

Researchers analyzed 16 processing services. In addition to Bitcoin, they studied payments in Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Tether. The number of processing transactions in USDT has grown five times.
In July, the daily volume of cryptocurrency payments in day-to-day trading amounted to about $ 5.5 million, while in January it was $ 3 million. For comparison, the daily turnover of the coffee giant Starbucks is about $ 70 million.
